Ps Boey gave his testimony; God called him as a ‘Barnabas’. In his dream, he fished a big fish. The big fish turned out to be a man. He released the fish and caught it again.

 

Ps Boey went to PKK to love the unlovable. Jesus came to serve. (Mark 10:45) Humble yourself and serve. In our shame there will be double honour. The plan of God will bring us to a place of new position in our lives. In PKK there are many testimonies as they grow from strength to strength, from knowledge to knowledge.

We need to be focused in our lives. What has God called us to do?

We need to let go our past, fearful, trust God to give the wisdom. Paul released his heritage and his lineage, his former legalism, past zeal and self righteousness. (Phil. 3:1-7)

In 2012 what does God want us to do?

Joseph endured the hardship, Abraham left his home, Moses turned his back to Egypt, and Stephen preached dying as a martyr. Our lives are to centre on Jesus.

Ps Boey prayed for a MB, Johor Bahru. He demonstrated boldness to witness for Jesus.

Paul gave up everything to know Jesus. He was focused. God wants to move in our lives, a plan to win souls, to be a light to the world. Martha was focused.   2 KEYS:

2) Concentration

Our lifestyle needs to be a life of focus. When we re focused, God can do wonders in our lives (Isa. 59: 19). There are four things to be focused:

1) We need to work on ourselves.

We need to be Word centered, without the Word we will perish. Get back to quiet time, to prayer. Meditate on the Word of God.

 

 

 

2) Work on your priority.

If it is to reach out, go! Have boldness to share the gospel (Heb. 4:12). Boldly declare the award of God.

 

3) Work on your strength.

What is your strength? Help people?

 

4) You must have friends and then you can share the gospel to them. Only Jesus can give us hope and future.

 

We must be focused on Jesus. In 2012 Jesus can use us mightily. When we say we love him, and then do something to please him. Let your life count for Jesus (1John 3:17-18).

People don’t go to church, we bring the church to people. We must impact the love of God to others; shine the light of Jesus to all around us (Matt. 5:13).

We must be a witness for Jesus during this festive season especially. Impact a spirit of servant hood. Let your faith grow.
